Gain hands-on experience in the design, creation and programming of SQL Server databases as they exist in business settings. After completing the certificate you will be able to create entity relationship models, design and create a working database model in SQL, normalize data, and translate business requirements into actionable items. The Certificate may be earned by taking the courses individually or register for the series and save.
SQL Server Certificate can be a stand-alone certificate (meaning you earn the certificate at the end of your fall quarter class) or students can apply it toward a Data Analyst Certificate by also enrolling in and completing Data Analyst Part 2: Python (offered in Winter quarter) and Data Analyst Part 3: Exploratory Data Analysis (offered in Spring quarter).
Prerequisite: basic computer skills and Windows proficiency; highly recommended: Excel, Access or other database experience.

**To receive the SQL Server Certificate, you must attend 80% of the first three courses (calculated by number of sessions in each course) and 100% of the Capstone course. You must also successfully complete the Capstone project by the deadline given.
