HR Generalist
As an HR Generalist you are expected to be an expert in every human resource function including hiring, compensation, payroll, performance management, employment laws (FMLA, ADA, COBRA, etc.) and much more. Through lecture, discussion and activities, this program will help prepare you to effectively serve in an HR Generalist role. Additionally, you will be equipped with tools to assist you as you encounter situations in today's workplace.

Program Completion
To receive the HR Generalist Certificate, you must attend 80 percent of the entire certificate program (calculated by total number of sessions).

Project Management
The Project Management Certificate consists of seven required courses totaling 108 hours of course work. The courses are divided into two parts: A & B. Part A contains three classes, and is offered fall quarter. Part B contains the remaining four courses, and is offered winter quarter.
You may register for the courses individually, or you can save money by registering for a series of courses.

*Course 6, Microsoft Project 2019, requires good working knowledge of Windows, Word and Excel and access to a computer or laptop with good internet connection. You will not be able to work in the MS Project application via a smartphone or tablet.
Program Completion
To earn the Project Management Certificate of Completion, students must meet the following requirements:
- Take all seven required courses
- Attend 80 percent of each course (based on number of sessions in each course), except the Capstone course, where 100% attendance is required. Please note: Saturday courses lasting longer than four hours will count as two sessions.
- Participate in class
These courses count toward the education requirements for the Project Management Professional (PMP)® and Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® certifications*
*While the courses provide a solid foundation of knowledge for the Project Management Institute (PMI) PMP® and CAPM® Certification exams, they are not focused on exam preparation. To prepare for the exams, it is highly recommend to also complete a PMP® Exam Prep course.

Leadership & Supervision
Develop your leadership, communication, motivation and problem-solving skills with the Supervision Certificate. Through a series of six courses, you will acquire the interpersonal skills needed to interact successfully in a supervisory role. Topics include turning negative situations into positive outcomes; identifying your leadership traits through personal assessment; leading effective meetings; providing feedback; establishing priorities; problem-solving techniques, and more!

Data Analyst
The Data Analyst Certificate consists of eight required courses totaling 105 hours of course work. Most people are able to complete the Certificate in three quarters. You may register for the courses individually, or you can save money by registering for a series of courses.
The eight courses are grouped into three parts:
Data Analyst Certificate Part 1: SQL Server (offered in fall)
Gain hands-on experience in the design, creation and programming of SQL Server databases as they exist in business settings. After completing the certificate you will be able to create entity relationship models, design and create a working database model in SQL, normalize data, and translate business requirements into actionable items. The certificate may be earned by taking the courses individually or register for the series and save.
- Relational Database Concepts and Design (9 hours)
- SQL Programming Level 1 (15 hours)
- SQL Programming Level 2 (12 hours)
- SQL Server Certificate Capstone (9 hours)
To receive the SQL Server Certificate, you must attend 80% of the first three courses (calculated by number of sessions in each course) and 100% of the Capstone course. You must also successfully complete the Capstone project by the deadline given.
Data Analyst Certificate Part 2: Python for Data Analysis (offered in winter)
Python is a versatile and easy-to-use language that's used by data analysts for data mining and data analytics. Learn the basics of Python by exploring the variables, expressions, functions and classes. Create basic programming structures using decisions and loops. Create code for data processing using Pandas for analytics.
Prerequisite: Data Analyst Certificate Part 1: SQL Server (4 Class Series) or proven SQL Server experience, which can be verified via the completion of an assigned project. Please request the project at least 10 business days prior to the course start date.

Data Analyst Program Completion
