This American Red Cross safety course prepares 11- to 15-year-olds to become skilled babysitters. During the course we will cover: choking emergencies, CPR, behavior issues, first aid, fire safety, fixing snacks, personal safety, diaper changing, hourly rates, getting jobs, resumes/business cards, and much more! The course is designed to be very interactive as we practice and discuss possible scenarios that may occur. Students will receive a book and certification. Please bring a sack lunch.
