Are you interested in becoming a birth doula? Join Jacqueline Starkey, a DONA Birth Doula Trainer and founder of Birthjourneys, a local birth doula resource to begin your birth doula journey. You will learn how to hold space during a birth, provide comfort to a birthing family, and understand the role of a birth doula. Jacqueline will guide you and your passion for birth work and help develop your skills to become an active, respected doula in your community. This training is a required step towards certification as a DONA Labor Doula and is a WA Department of Health approved training program, which can provide a pathway to earn Washington state certification and can lead to eligibility for Medicaid client reimbursement.
